This piston french horn has an Eb crook and is stamped “Henry Pourcelle Paris”. Pourcelle was a trade name used by the Bruno Company for their high-end brass instruments.
The Bruno Company was founded by Charles Bruno around 1834 and existed as an instrument seller of imported brass instruments in New York until it sold to Kaman Music Corp. in 1971.
