The Green Machine Pep Band is an inclusive, diverse, and musically excellent ensemble that welcomes musicians of all backgrounds, experience levels, and majors. Participation in the Pep Band looks different for everyone. Undergraduate students have the option of registering for the 1-credit or 0-credit sections of MUSI 280, which is a Mason Core Arts course. Graduate students, alumni, and community members are welcome to participate as their schedules allow!
The Pep Band performs at a variety of events, most notably all Mason home basketball games. Additionally, the Pep Band performs at other university events, pro-DC sports games, alongside major musical artists, and many other exciting opportunities within our community!
